• The State of California requires a 40-hour training certification course for all Domestic Violence Advocates. To be certified, attendance is required at all. The goal of this training it to educate future advocates on the history of domestic violence and strategies to help survivors of abusive relationships.  This workshop will include lectures, presentations, participant experiences, questions and answer periods.

Participants will successfully complete the mandated initial 40 hour basic     training as required in 1203.098 of the California Penal Code.

2017 Sessions:

Cost: $25/students  $50/other Option House, Inc. provides DV classes on a quarterly basis. Class size is limited, so register early to reserve your spot. We do not provide make-up classes, so please make sure you will be able to attend all sessions.
